‘Last Time’ is the new single from art-pop singer, songwriter and producer Scout. The London-based artist has been making waves with their uniquely defiant sound, which places powerful lyrics against a sound defined by reverb-soaked guitars and punchy synths that wobble away at the base of the track. The track is designed as a companion to their previous single, ‘Hurt’, looking at “the same relationship breakdown but from the perspective of remembering rather than being in the midst of it. I tend to do this with more upbeat, driving songs a lot - I think they just lend themselves to ‘setting the scene and playing out like a film’ really well.
